AFUR was founded in November 2002 under the NEPAD framework as a pan-African regulatory institution. With 40 member countries and regulators from six utility sectors, we facilitate the harmonisation of regulatory policies, the exchange of best practices, and capacity building in support of Africa's socio-economic development.
