Ouagadougou is hosting, from September 25 to 29, 2023, a training workshop on the tariff settlement tool for mini-networks in Burkina. This workshop is organized by the Energy Sector Regulatory Authority (ARSE), in collaboration with the African Forum of Utilities Regulators (AFUR). The workshop was opened by the Prime Minister’s chief of staff, Dr Ferdinand Ouédraogo, this Monday 25.

AFUR is in Burkina Faso for the in-country visit for the Training on its BETA Enhanced Tariff Tool developed in its Mainstreaming Mini-grid Tariff Settlement Tools and Methodologies Across African Regulators Project. Led by the Projects Coordinator, Samuel S Bunnya, our partner AMDA’s Chief Operations Officer, John Paul Ouko, and the Lead Consultant on the project, Robert Opini, the team is meeting key stakeholders in the mini-grid sector of Burkina Faso. The importance of this project and training are underlined in this news piece by Burkina Faso press.
