Different countries on the African continent are at different levels of execution of mini-grids. Some countries like Nigeria and Kenya are far ahead having had mini-grids for more than a few years. Regulations and tools are in place in such countries. Other countries have neither regulations or tools to assist in the development and regulation of mini-grids.
