AFUR has announced the theme for its 23rd Annual Conference & AGA, to be held in Monrovia, Liberia, from 05 to 09 April 2027 and hosted by the Liberia Electricity Regulatory Commission (LERC).
Theme: Regulating for Delivery: Universal Access, Integrated Markets and Climate-Resilient Utility Services in Africa.
Tagline: From Compacts to Connections.
The subtitle captures the practical direction of the conference: advancing Mission 300, AfSEM, Africa Water Vision 2063 and digital trust through harmonised, investment-ready regulation.
The theme reflects AFUR's mandate to bring regulators together around practical delivery. It links access, regional integration, resilient utilities, digital trust and cross-sector regulation in a way that speaks to the current priorities of AFUR members, host country Liberia, and development partners working across Africa's infrastructure sectors.
